Matrimony
The sacrament of Matrimony establishes an exclusive and lifelong bond between the spouses. God himself seals the consent of the spouses.
Those intending to get married should :
Marriages during LENT, especially on Sundays of Lent, are STRONGLY DISCOURAGED and to a lesser degree during the season of Advent.
NUPTIAL MASSES : Can be celebrated during a scheduled Mass or a separate private Mass.
Timings: Normally at 9:15 am or 4 pm on Sundays. Weekdays at 4 pm and Saturdays at 3:30 pm.
- Complete the Marriage Preparation Course organised by the Diocese, at least six months before marriage.
- Meet the Parish Priest at least 6 months before the wedding to have enough time for the necessary documents to be processed and check the availability of the Church for the Nuptial Mass.
